THE fashion event of the year is coming up…..next week northern Europe’s largest fashion event COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK will take place and WE will be there to cover it all. CSS is going to work for DANSK Daily , a daily fashion newspaper aimed at the visitors of fashion week….the newspaper is a joint venture between Copenhagen Fashion Week (Danish Fashion Institute) and DANSK Magazine (Style Counsel-one of Denmark’s leading branding agencies with a focus on fashion, lifestyle and trends)…….We will be taking pics of attendees to the shows, the receptions and the parties and we’ll also do daily short interviews with people in the business and people with good style!! Expect a lot of daily updates from Wednesday…….In the meantime check out our new pics in the last post

Finally a day off!! We know we haven’t updated a lot the past couple of months but we’ve been extremely busy with work and applying for schools in New York (Don’t worry we won’t be going until September)!! We have actually been out shooting stylish Copenhageners but we’re not allowed to use them until they’ve been published…….Amongst others we’ve worked for the music magazine Soundvenue and their fashion-issue which will be out next week so expect a lot of crazy club-styles, Twin Peaks look-a-likes, girls in wide skirts and boys in knee-socks…………..
Remember international streetstyle competition Streetclash? Last time CopenhagenStreetStyle lost out to the extremely popular streetstyle-blog iLook!!! As the winner of Streetclash 2007, iLook will have a special focus and retrospective on the blog in the Streetclash Showroom in Berlin at Wedding Dress #2, an urban fashion and art festival running in conjunction with Berlin Fashion Week! The Streetclash-showroom will also include A NEW LIVE STREETCLASH-COMPETITION exclusive to the festival which COPENHAGEN STREETSTYLE once again will take part in. Visitors to the Street Clash showroom will have the chance to vote in person and at the end of the festival there will be a winning city and blog for Street Clash @ Wedding Dress #2. The competition/exhibition will open tomorrow Thursday at 11.00 (local…Berlin time) with a press-conference. So if you happen to be in Berlin in the following two weeks…. remember to check out our pictures and the other VERY talented streetclashers. Everyday will see one new photo………..
From January 25th – February 10th, 2008 „Wedding Dress #2 – Festival of Urban Fashion and Arts“ will take place by the time of the „Fashion week Berlin“. The goal of the festival is to show the band of a possible urban development, to give inspiration and initiate the discourse with architects, urban planners and residents. The added contest „Create your own wedding Space“ picks the debate about the development of the urban area out as a central theme and asks to apply for future shop concepts and installations ideas.
